What was meant to be a day of recreation turned into a tragedy for a family who lost a loved one at Casa Mar beach, located in the district of San Carlos, Panama Oeste province. The incident occurred after 6:00 PM yesterday when many visitors had already left the beach. Shortly before, 25-year-old Chinese national Julián Cen entered the water and did not come out. Upon realizing this, his relatives began searching for him and found him in the water, so they rushed to pull him to the shore. Relatives and paramedics from the Unique Emergency Management System provided first aid, but unfortunately, the young man had to be declared dead at approximately 6:38 PM.
